By equipping six classrooms of Year 1 with modern technologies, educators can leverage technology to create an engaging and personalized environment to meet the emerging educational needs of this generation. No longer does learning have to be one-size-fits-all or confined to the classroom. The opportunities afforded by technology should be used to re-imagine 21st-century education, focusing on preparing students to be learners for life. Thus the school intends to facilitate these students with 60 inches Smart TV which can be linked with direct camera viewing, direct HDMI and direct mirroring technology which can connect users directly to their smartphones and access internet easily to search for photos and viewing online educational videos. Learning would be fun and meaningful. Teachers can apply the 4C’s in the 21st century learning by utilizing ict to improve the quality of learning in Malaysia.

Future classroom is one of the ways to make 21st century classroom happens. Having a smart television in the classroom will help enhance and modernize the educational experience for students. The smart option on the television will allow teachers to connect the television to the internet and other portable devices. Having access to the internet on the television will allow students to view online educational videos, use the limitless resources online to aid them and so on. Having smart TV in classroom will benefit all students. Other than that, Malaysia is known for their tropical weather which is hot and wet throughout the year. During the hot season, temperature could reach about 32°C to 33°C.Can we imagine condition of our children inside a classroom that occupied around 25-30 students? Factually speaking, the classroom environment affects a student’s learning process by as much as 25%.This is why air conditioning is important for schools. These two electronic devices, smart TV and air condition will be placed inside a “future classroom” that is still under construction, the class size about 31mx44m. Freelancer is needed to arrange the purchasing and installation processes. Currently SEMESTI has one classroom equipped with other equipment such as tables, chairs, internet connection and others geared for Future Classroom teaching. However the items below are what is lacking to complete this classroom.
